Vintage Port
From the outstanding 1947 vintage, this stunning port is deep and rich with nice weight and a dry liquorice finish. Light tawny color with spicy aromas and a hint of balsam, but the palate delivers very sweet, smoky plum, herbs and mint characteristics. Well balanced and with good length on the finish.

Colheita Port
Colheita Port is a vintaged dated member of the Tawny Port family. The word colheita literally means ‘crop’, or ‘harvest’, but is better understood as ‘vintage’. However the style should not be confused with Vintage Port, as Colheita Port is required to spend at least seven years in wooden casks, though barrel ageing of twenty years or more is common practice. During this time the fortified wine undergoes oxidative ageing, bringing it more in line with an Aged Tawny than anything else.
Colheitas typically show similar nutty flavors to Aged Tawny with the addition of any characteristics specific to the vintage. …
