Our wine buyer has put together a fabulous selection of ports to celebrate winning the 2021 IWC Fortified Retailer of the Year Award.
We take pride in visiting and working with small producers to import outstanding ports so that we can offer them at great prices. This selection of Ports is an expression of that philosophy and features four producers that we have been working with over the last 12 months.

Oscar Quevedo has given VWP some great support over the last 18months through his series of online tastings and innovative products. The Quevedo Late Bottled Vintage has won many awards and we are delighted to offer it as part of our selection.
Messias 10 Year Old White Port (50cll)
We wanted to offer something original and fresh and so opted for a beautiful aged aged white port from Messias. It is golden in colour, with good acidity, concentration and wood from the long ageing all come together to give a Port that is dry while very rich, with just a hint of orange marmalade flavour.
Palmer 2008 Colheita Port 50cl Bottle
Palmer is one of our favourite brands. Exclusive to VWP, and part of the Barao de Vilar portfolio, they have a reputation for the depth of their colheita stocks. The 2008 is a new release colhieta, young, vibrant and fresh. Serve chilled as a great aperitif. Palmer is now one of our most popular sellers!
Gilberts 1985 Vintage Port
We had to include a Vintage Port - it's in our name! We wanted to include a fully mature VP from a classic year and we are delighted to include Gilberts 1985. Gilberts 85 is in a good place - nicely mature and a great starting point if you want to get into Vintage Port.
