We are delighted to offer exclusively Quinta das Carvalhas Wines and Ports. Located in prime position on the banks of the Douro River opposite Pinhao, Quinta das Carvalhas is one of the most emblematic and spectacular properties in the Douro Valley.

With a rich history dating back to 1759, Carvalhas is one of the jewels of the Douro. Now owned and cherished by the Silva Reis family, the estate has received considerable investment and undergone a transformation in recent years, blending sustainable modern viticulture with the preservation of century-old vines that contribute to their finest wines.

Quinta das Carvalhas is one of the largest estates in the Douro Valley, boasting a vast collection of indigenous grape varieties. Its diverse aspects and inclinations provide a unique terroir, enabling winemakers Jorge Moreira and Pedro O. Silva Reis to craft some of the region's finest wines and Ports.

When the Silva Reis family acquired Port shipper Miguel Sousa Guedes & Irmaos in 1953, they also obtained historic stocks stored in Nova de Gaia. Among these are some extremely rare vintage and tawny Ports dating back to the early 1800s. We are honored to offer select wines from this exceptional collection, including the Memories 19th Century Tawny Port—a blend of Ports from 1867 and 1900.
