Mullineux Straw Wine, 2021
Mullineux Signature, Signature Straw Wine
Sweet White Wine
Half Bottle 37.5cl
Straw Wine is one of the great sweet wines of the world. It is made from old vine Chenin Blanc that is harvested at normal ripeness levels and air-dried for three to four weeks, concentrating the sugars, flavours and, most importantly, acidity. The wine is slowly pressed and ferments in old barrels for six to nine months before natural settling and bottling. The resulting wine has an incredibly intense nose of dried fruit, marmalade, marzipan and honey. On the palate, it is powerful and intense, with around 300 grams per litre residual sugar, but this is balanced by a vibrant acidity that leaves the wine tasting fresh and dry. …

Peter Lehman, 2021
Barossa Valley Botrytis Semillion
Sweet White Wine
Half Bottle 37.5cl
A beautiful bright gold colour which will deepen with bottle age. It has wonderful tropical fruit aromas with just a hint of citrus. It is a truly harmonious wine with a delicious lusciousness on the middle palate counterbalanced by tantalizingly complex acidity, the hallmark of botrytis wine.
Enjoy with creamy blue vein or washed rind cheeses. A delicious accompaniment for fruit flans, warm winter puddings and great with scrambled eggs for a luxurious brunch. Can be cellared for 20 plus years.

Donnafugata, 2020
Donnafugata, `Kabir` Moscato di Pantelleria, Sicilly
Sweet White Wine
The Rallo family has made wine in Marsala since 1851 and their ancient cellars tunnel beneath the city. They were one of the first families to begin making high-quality table wine when sales of traditional Marsala started to decline, launching the Donnafugata label in 1983 and championing the potential of the region’s native varieties.
Today, Donnafugata has four estates in Sicily: a modern winery and 283 hectares at Contessa Entellina in the hills east of Marsala, 36 hectares in Vittoria towards the south-eastern point of the island, 68 hectares on the island of Pantelleria, and 18 hectares on the slopes of Etna. …

Donnafugata, `Ben Ryé` Passito di Pantelleria
Sweet White Wine
Donnafugata’s masterpiece is ‘Ben Ryé‘: a Moscato Passito from the island of Pantelleria, which lies closer to Africa than it does to Sicily. Their fusion of a new approach to production with the ancient process of drying the grapes results in a wine that is intense and raisiny, yet fresh and balanced.

Chateau Laville, 2016
Chateau Laville, Sauternes
Sweet White Wine
Château Laville is owned by Jean-Christophe Barbe and his family. Jean-Christophe’s particular area of expertise as an oenology professor at the University of Bordeaux is ‘noble rot’ which, as a producer of Sauternes, he has had plenty of opportunity to study first-hand.
The vineyards for Château Laville lie on gravel soils underpinned by limestone. The best plots are used to make the Grand Vin. Several passes through the vineyard are needed to ensure that only the most botrytised berries are selected. The wine is a blend of 90% Semillon and 10% Sauvignon Blanc. It is fermented in temperature-controlled, …

Vin De Constance - Klein Constantia
Natural Sweet White Wine
Includes gift box as shown.
Luscious tones of apricot, dried nectarine, honey and spiced orange syrup with subtle tones of cinnamon all beg for your attention on the nose of the 2016 Vin de Constance Natural Sweet Wine. The wine is rich and dense on the palate, expanding and unfolding, showing layers of depth and breadth across the mid-palate. It's perfectly sweet with the precision and balance to counter the acidity, so you can continue to drink it throughout the night. The finish is long and thoughtful and continues to evolve on the palate, leaving a viscous layer, flopping back and forth between flavours of honey, orange marmalade and apricot paste. …

Chateau du Cros, 2009
Loupiac, sweet white wine
Chateau du Cros Loupiac has a light golden yellow colour. The nose is complex and aromatic with aromas of peach, apricot, citrus, acacia and a slight hint of toasty oak. The palate is very sweet but with good acidity so that the wine is not cloying. There are toasty oak notes from the barrel ageing but the palate is dominated by apricot and plum with some candied, honey character beginning to develop. It has a very long, lingering finish with great subtlety and elegance.

Klein Constantia, 2007
Vin De Constance - Klein Constandia,
Natural Sweet White Wine
Includes Gift Box
Since being introduced in 1986, Vin de Constance has consistently appeared in lists of the world’s top wines. The 2007 vintage was recently awarded 97 points by Neal Martin of Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, making it the best rated South African sweet wine in history.
This vintage was one of the best of the decade, with a long, cool season ensuring concentrated flavours and aromatic intensity. A warm, dry late summer created perfect conditions for the raisining of our Muscat de Frontignan grapes whilst still on the vine.
After handpicking selected shriveled grapes, the berries are left to macerate on their skins for several days to soften, which facilitates the recovery of their golden juice with pressing. …

Chateau Yquem, 1996
Sauternes 1er Cru Classe
Sweet White Wine
Chateau d`Yquem is often described as the greatest sweet wine in the world. After centuries of family ownership, Yquem was finally sold in acrimonious circumstances to Louis Vuitton-Moët-Hennessy in 1999. However, its former owner and director Alexandre de Lur-Saluce remains in charge. Yquem is located on the highest hill in Sauternes and enjoys the best growing conditions in the whole appellation. The 110-hectare vineyard is planted with 80% Sémillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc. Only fully botrytized fruit is picked by the 150 highly skilled pickers and yields are so low that each vine produces only one glass of wine. …
