Vintage Port Wine | Vintage Wine and Port

Vintage Port accounts for only a fraction of the total Port production – which includes tawny port, ruby port, Late-Bottled Vintage and Single Quinta Vintage styles. It is the finest, longest-lived and most expensive style around. The best vintage ports are as good as any wine in existence and have exceptional longevity. Made from a blend of wines from a producer's finest plots, it is aged for around 18 months in wooden casks, followed by at least 15 years ageing in bottle.

Established 10 years ago and with over 80,000 fulfilled orders and outstanding reviews, we hold the largest selection of port wine in the UK. They make unique and thoughtful gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, corporate gifts and any other special occasion.

2017 Vintage Declaration

Decanting Vintage Port

Vintage port will benefit from spending a few hours in a decanter to allow it to come into a balance. The bottle should be stood upright for a few days to allow sediment to settle. With older bottles the cork may be brittle and crumble. Whilst it is fine to remove broken cork with a sieve, it is fun to open the bottle with port tongs.
