Description

Palmer 2007 White Colheita Port. This rare white port-wine has been stored in seasoned oak casks since the 2007 harvest until bottling. White ports are a true rarity and this is an outstanding example.

Tasting Notes:
The 2007 Palmer white port has a golden amber colour that will deepen with age. On the nose there are notes of citrus fruits, apricots, peaches, and a touch of honey and floral hints. On the palate it is light and refreshing flavours of ripe citrus, stone fruits (apricot, peach), honey, and almonds.

The wine is ready to drink and does not require decanting. The bottle should be kept upright protected from direct sunlight. Serve chilled, around 10-12°C (50-54°F) and use a white wine glass to enhance the aromatic experience. This White Port is ideal as an aperitif or paired with light appetizers such as smoked salmon, almonds, or olives. Or, you can also enjoy with fruit-based desserts like lemon tart, peach cobbler, or apple pie.
