Barbaresco DOC 1967 Villadoria Riserva Speciale is a red wine from Barbaresco, Piedmont, Italy, produced by Marchesi Villadoria, a historic estate renowned for crafting elegant and age-worthy Nebbiolo wines. This Riserva Speciale comes from a celebrated vintage, showcasing the refinement, complexity, and aging potential that only over five decades of careful maturation can reveal.

Tasting Notes:
The wine displays a garnet-red color with warm brick-orange hues along the rim, reflecting its mature age. The bouquet is profoundly layered, revealing dried red cherries, raspberries, and subtle hints of wild berries, intertwined with tertiary aromas of leather, tobacco, cedar, and earthy undertones. Gentle aeration unveils delicate floral notes of violet and rose, along with soft mineral and balsamic hints, enhancing the wine’s depth and sophistication.
