The 1975 Giuseppe Contratto Barbaresco is a gracefully aged Nebbiolo, displaying complex tertiary aromas and flavours. Expect notes of dried cherries, rose petals, leather, and truffle, with hints of tobacco, tar, and balsamic undertones. The once-firm tannins have mellowed into a refined, silky texture, while the acidity retains enough vibrancy to provide freshness and balance. A nuanced and elegant expression of mature Barbaresco.
