The 1981 Barbera by Rossello La Castella is a traditional Piedmontese red wine that reflects the vibrant, fruit-driven character of Barbera as it was commonly vinified in the early 1980s.

Tasting Notes: The wine likely shows evolved aromas of dried cherries, plums, and red berries, along with earthy nuances, gentle spice, and faint herbal notes developed over decades of aging. On the palate it is expected to be smooth and balanced, with lively but softened acidity, low tannins, and a medium-light body leading to a soft, mature finish.

Serving & Food Pairing: Best served at 15–17°C, ideally after a short decanting to remove sediment. It pairs well with pasta dishes, roasted meats, cured meats, and aged cheeses.
