Barbera 1982 Marchesi di Barolo is a red wine from Piedmont, Italy, produced by the historic Marchesi di Barolo, a family estate celebrated for its mastery of traditional Piedmontese varieties. This vintage highlights Barbera’s characteristic freshness and vibrant acidity, while demonstrating the complexity and refinement that comes with decades of careful aging.

Tasting Notes:
The wine shows a deep garnet color with orange-brick hues along the rim, reflecting its maturity. The bouquet is expressive and layered, featuring aromas of dried cherries, red plums, and subtle hints of raspberries, complemented by tertiary notes of leather, tobacco, gentle spices, and earthy undertones. Gentle aeration reveals delicate balsamic and mineral nuances, enhancing the wine’s sophistication.
