Description
These Barolos have recently been released from the cellar of the Carretta estate where they have been stored in ideal conditons.
Good cork with a fill into the neck. Nose of roses and crushed berries was really nice, and yielded to an amazing palate that was surprisingly rich and viscous with fresh cherries and good acidity. The finish even had a little tannin in it and a slight liquorice note at the end. Quite an experience!

good level and label - note as this is a library release they have been relabelled by the Chateau
