The Marchesi di Barolo is a fine example of the 1965 vintage. It is a powerfully structured wine, tannic and deep ruby, warm complex flavour. Characteristic and intense perfume, delicate and harmonic, with a light scent of vanilla and flowering vineyards. It is a wine of ample taste, warm and persistent, of great harmony and flavour. Amazing freshness for a wine this age combined with fine finish with plenty of stuffing.
