Tasting notes:
Elegant and subtle, this mature Bordeaux reveals evolved aromas of wilted rose, pipe tobacco, damp earth, and faint cherry compote. The palate is light-bodied yet harmonious, offering soft acidity and flavours of dried red fruit, forest floor, and a whisper of spice. A contemplative wine that speaks of age, grace, and Bordeaux tradition.

About Chateau Larrivet Haut-Brion:
The estate's origins date back to 1840, initially known as Château de Canolle. It underwent several name changes—La Rivette, Brion-Larrivet—before being renamed Château Larrivet Haut-Brion in 1874 by then-owner Ernest Laurent, a Bordeaux wine merchant. The inclusion of "Haut-Brion" in the name led to legal disputes with the renowned Château Haut-Brion, resulting in a compromise that allowed the name provided "Haut-Brion" appeared at the end.
