Description

Appearance
In the glass this wine typically shows a mature, garnet to brick‑tinged colour — a sign of its age and evolution over more than half a century.

Nose
Aromas are developed and evocative, with tertiary notes of earthy forest floor, dried black cherry, cedar and soft spice emerging alongside remnants of the original dark fruit. There may also be subtle hints of leather and tobacco on the bouquet, reflecting graceful evolution.

Palate
On the palate this is a soft, round and supple Bordeaux, with gentle, integrated fruit and smooth structure. Flavours of ripe black cherry and plum mingle with savoury notes — leather, cedar and dried herbs — while the texture remains pleasant and mellow. The oak influence is present but well‑integrated, adding nuance rather than dominance.

Finish
The finish is moderate and approachable, with tertiary notes lingering — dried fruit, cedar and just‑right acidity that keeps the wine fresh and balanced.
