Reviews: This bottle of Les Ormes de Pez is surprisingly ripe on the nose with scents of cedar, field mushroom and a touch of autumn leaves. It is nicely defined and builds promise for the palate. Furry tannins and citric acidity immediately noticeable on the entry, it is typically a rather austere, masculine Saint Estephe and for sure, it is abrupt on the finish. It exceeds modest expectations and partners hearty, meaty food in its own hearty manner. Neil Martin, Wine Journal, 2009.
