From the respected Petite Champagne cru — known for producing refined, elegant eaux-de-vie with excellent ageing potential — this 1932 Harveys represents a rare survivor of a remarkable era.
Harveys, historically associated with the British wine and spirits trade, maintained close links with French producers, often maturing Cognacs for the UK market. Extended ageing in oak has shaped this spirit over many decades, concentrating its character and softening its structure into a beautifully harmonious whole.
Tasting Notes:
Now deep amber with mahogany hues, the nose is richly evolved and expressive. Aromas of toasted walnut, dried apricot and fig are layered with notes of antique oak, cigar box and caramelised sugar. With time, hints of orange zest, leather and warm spice emerge. On the palate it is supple and composed, with a silky texture and gentle warmth.
