Description

Fara is a small, historic DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata) red wine appellation in northern Italy’s Piedmont region. It’s one of the lesser-known Nebbiolo-based wines from the area and is produced exclusively in and around the villages of Fara Novarese and Briona, in the Novara hills of northern Piedmont.
