Graham’s 2024 Vintage Port
A Magnificent Return for One of Port’s Greatest Houses
After seven years, Graham’s returns with a classic Vintage Port declaration that beautifully captures the house’s legendary style of opulence, richness, and refinement. Produced from some of the finest vineyard parcels across Quinta dos Malvedos, Quinta do Tua, Quinta da Vila Velha, and Quinta do Vale de Malhadas, the 2024 vintage combines immense concentration with extraordinary elegance and purity of fruit.
Deep opaque purple-black in colour, the nose is intensely aromatic and seductive, revealing layers of black plum, kirsch, cassis, and dark berry fruit alongside Graham’s signature notes of mint and eucalyptus. Delicate floral hints of rockrose and wild herbs add lift and complexity, while subtle traces of liquorice and spice emerge with time in the glass.
On the palate, the wine is rich, polished, and beautifully textured, with dense black fruit flavours supported by refined tannins and vibrant acidity. The concentration and depth are remarkable, yet perfectly balanced by freshness and precision, giving the wine both immediate appeal and exceptional ageing potential. The finish is long, harmonious, and deeply expressive, showcasing the unmistakable elegance and structure that define great Graham’s Vintage Port.
The 2024 growing season delivered moderate conditions and gradual ripening, allowing for exceptional aromatic development and balanced phenolic maturity. Cool September nights and carefully timed harvesting ensured remarkable freshness and purity, while traditional foot treading in granite lagares enhanced the wine’s texture, structure, and complexity.

Sourced primarily from the iconic Quinta dos Malvedos and other top Douro estates, Graham’s Vintage Ports are celebrated for their opulent fruit, signature minty complexity, and exceptional longevity.

Reviews
Luis Gutiérrez 96-97/100
The 2024 Vintage Port was produced with a blend of 55% Touriga Nacional, 30% Touriga Franca, mostly from their Malvedos vineyards (but not exclusively), a 9% field blend of old vines and 6% Sousão from Quinta do Tua, another property separated from Malvedos by the Tua River. It fermented in stainless steel lagar with foot-treading robots and matured in large oak vessels for 18 months. The wine comes from very low yields, and the nose is phenomenal, very high on Touriga Nacional, with floral notes—orange blossom—a touch of resin, a typical Graham's eucalyptus/minty thing, really morish. This is a really delicious Graham's; it's a sweeter, very generous wine that tends to be velvety with good tannins and length, more powerful and concentrated. The tannins are more assertive than the Warre's, for example, and it has the grip from the Sousão. This is certainly going to be long lived. It's relatively dry at 107 grams of sugar. 71,220 bottles produced. This was last produced in 2020.

James Suckling 95/100
This shows dark fruit, notably blackberries, and is expressive overall. Full-bodied and voluptuous, with a textural profile of polished, subtly granular tannins that are broad through the finish. Rich, yet with a precise shape.

Richard Mayson 19.5/20
A blend from all the Graham quintas: Malvedos and Tua with Vila Velha and Vale de Malhadas, the latter in the Douro Superior, 55% Touriga Nacional, 30% Touriga Franca, 9% Vinha Velha and 6% Sousão: Characteristically deep and inky in colour, subdued on the nose with just a touch of heat showing through, dusty earth with mint and eucalyptus; similarly dusty, ripe and fleshy on the palate with breadth and sweetness, firm but broad ripe tannins piling up mid-palate leading to a long structured, spicy finish, again well-defined and magnificent overall. 5935 cases.
