  • Description

    Quevedo 1995 Colheita,
Drawn from a single 1995 harvest and matured for decades in seasoned oak, this Quevedo Colheita captures the silken depth only time can give. It bridges richness and finesse beautifully: a ready-to-drink tawny with the poise of long cask ageing and the charm of a great vintage year.

Tasting Profile — Warm, Nutty, Citrus-Laced
Amber-tawny in the glass with a mahogany rim. Aromas of dried fig, apricot and orange peel unfold into toffee, toasted almond and a whisper of vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is plush yet lifted, carrying caramelised citrus, sultana and roasted nuts; bright Douro acidity keeps it lively, and the finish lingers long with nutty, cocoa-tinged warmth.

Serve & Pair — Effortless Pleasure
No decanting needed. Serve slightly cool at 12–14 °C and enjoy with crème brûlée, almond tart, pecan pie, Christmas cake or dark chocolate. It’s superb with blue cheeses like Stilton and Gorgonzola, or simply alongside salted almonds after dinner. Once opened, it stays fresh for 4–6 weeks if re-corked and stored upright in a cool place.

    A Gift with Meaning — 1995 Birth-Year & 30th Celebrations
A wonderful choice for anyone born in 1995 or marking a 30th milestone. Colheita Ports wear their vintage proudly, making this both a delicious bottle and a thoughtful, date-specific keepsake. Add a gift message or presentation box and you’ve got a memorable, ready-to-give present.

The Quevedo Touch — Craft, Character, Authenticity
Quevedo is a respected family house in the Douro, known for precise maturation and expressive, single-harvest tawnies. Expect authenticity (vintage and bottling year on the label), small-lot attention to detail, and a style that balances layered complexity with immediate drinkability.
