Fermented in traditional lagares and bottled young to preserve its vibrant character, this is a modern yet authentic expression of Ruby Port, created with both ageing potential and immediate appeal in mind.
On the nose, it is intensely fruity and complex, with layers of ripe red and black fruits including cherry, blackberry and currant. Subtle notes of spice and a delicate floral lift of violets add further depth, reflecting the unique composition of this exceptional field blend.
The palate is full-bodied and well balanced, combining youthful energy with underlying structure. Ripe fruit flavours dominate, supported by smooth tannins and fresh acidity, leading to a long, harmonious finish with lingering hints of spice and dark fruit.
