A newly declared Vintage Port from one of the Douro’s most historic houses, the 2024 release forms part of a fully declared vintage, marking a significant year for the region and a return to a classic declaration style.

Tasting Note
Quinta da Devesa 2024 Vintage Port displays an intense deep purple colour with vibrant aromas of blackberries, cassis, dark cherries and wild Douro herbs. The nose is layered with notes of violet, dark chocolate and subtle spice, showing both freshness and concentration.

On the palate, the wine is rich and structured, combining ripe black fruit flavours with firm yet polished tannins. Excellent natural acidity provides balance and precision, while the finish is long, persistent and elegant with lingering notes of dark plum, cocoa and spice.

The 2024 vintage has produced Ports of remarkable freshness and purity, and Quinta da Devesa’s Vintage Port is a fine example of the year’s style — powerful yet refined, with excellent ageing potential. Expected to mature beautifully over the coming decades.
