Description
GRAPE VARIETAL: Croatina (40%), Barbera (55%) and a small percentage of Uva Rara e Ughetta (5%).
Very deep, thick, cherry-red colour. The bouquet begins with hints of overripe fruit, preserves and expands into toasty, spicy sensations that are very elegant. The taste is warm and full, and has a significant, sweet tannic component. Improves with lenghthy ageing.
Condition
Good condition. Because of the great age of this wine there is a higher than normal risk of failure. We cannot guarantee the contents and so the wine is sold as a curiosity from the vintage. This is excluded from our guarantee
