Ryst Dupeyron Armagnac

The Maison Ryst-Dupeyon was founded by Joseph Dupeyron in 1905. Caroline Ryst, his great-granddaughter is now the head of the property and continues to pay tribute to the beautiful Armagnac region by carrying on the centuries old tradition of making stunning wines.

Reserve Joseph Millesime represents their premium brand. Selected from the best stocks, these vintages are bottled at the alcohol level in which they naturally come out of the cask. There is a wonderful contrast between the sweet and sour flavours of wood, amplified by the strong alcoholic degree.

Armagnac is best served at room temperature in a tall tulip glass, which opens the flavours. By pressing your hand on the glass, you can gently warm the spirit in order to explore its purity.

However, there is no wrong way to drink Armagnac as long as you are enjoying it. Traditionally served neat, it can also be enjoyed chilled with ice.

Armagnac is traditionally served as a digestif (after dinner) but can be enjoyed on its own or with smoked salmon, cold meats or even lemon tart.
