Tasting Notes:
Deep amber-mahogany with glints of copper. The nose is complex and intense, with aromas of dried figs, prunes, walnut, cigar box, polished wood, cocoa and sweet spice. On the palate, the spirit is powerful yet silky, offering flavours of dried fruits, roasted nuts, vanilla, leather and hints of coffee and tobacco. The long oak ageing has given perfect balance between richness, freshness and elegance. The finish is incredibly long and warming, with lingering notes of spice, caramel and fine oak.
Serving Tips & Storage
Serve neat at room temperature in a tulip glass or small snifter to concentrate its aromas. Allow the spirit to rest in the glass for several minutes before sipping to reveal its full complexity. Best enjoyed as a digestif on its own, but it can also accompany fine cigars or rich desserts such as dark chocolate fondant. Store bottles upright in a cool, dark place with stable temperature to preserve quality.
