Description

his Barbaresco, from the excellent 1975 vintage, originates from the Piedmont region, and is made with the long-lasting Nebbiolo grape. The wine is pale, bricked, rose-ruby. It has a punchy, pointed nose, orange peel, almost grapefruit. Palate shows good cherry; drying out just a bit and a little dry. Pretty good length. After sitting a bit: a very pure, piercing nose of crystalline rose. Beautiful delicate crystalline finish.
