Description

This 1995 Barbaresco shows the refined elegance of a mature Nebbiolo. The bouquet features dried cherry, rose petal, tar, leather, and hints of truffle and earthy spice. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied, with softened tannins, balanced acidity, and flavours of dried red fruit, cedar, and a subtle savoury complexity. The finish is long, harmonious, and lingering, reflecting the classic aged Barbaresco character.

Serve at 17–18 °C (63–65 °F) after a gentle decant of 30–45 minutes. Ideal with slow-cooked braised meats, roasted game, aged hard cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano or Grana Padano, and traditional Piedmont dishes like tajarin with truffle or risotto with porcini mushrooms.
