Description

A 2008 Vintage Italian Barolo red wine.

Barolo is a red wine produced in the Piedmont region of Italy. The wines are made from Nebbiolo, a small, thin skinned red grape varietal generally high in acid and tannins.

"A strong and chewy wine with polished and rich tannins. Cedar and mushrooms. Full and intense. Goes on for minutes. Finish goes to flowers and dried fruits. Powerful yet enjoyable." - James Suckling

The Campè winery was established on the 8 hectares of Nebbiolo vineyards of the same name and represents the evolution of the La Spinetta production in respect to the great red wines of Piedmont. Though the vineyard is situated in an area that is less well-known for Barolo production, the soil, vineyard exposure and microclimate are extraordinary. T
