Description
This mature Bramaterra displays a deep garnet-red colour with warm amber highlights, reflecting over fifty years of careful ageing. On the nose, it reveals elegant aromas of dried red berries, forest fruits, gentle spice, and subtle earthy notes of leather and underbrush. The palate is silky and balanced, with softened yet structured tannins supporting flavours of stewed cherry, plum, hints of orange zest, and a touch of cedar. The finish is long, layered, and harmonious, showcasing the wine’s depth, finesse, and distinctive Bramaterra character.
Decanting: Stand the bottle upright for 24 hours to allow sediment to settle. Decant carefully through a fine strainer and allow 1–2 hours to breathe. Serve at 16–18°C to fully reveal its complex aromatics and refined structure.
