The Dorset estate of esteemed wine writer Steven Spurrier and his wife Bella. The vines are planted in an amphitheatre-like vineyard overlooking the village of Litton Cheney, near Bridport.
Tasting notes
The 2018 Bride Valley Rosé Bella is a delicious English sparkling rosé. On the nose sweet aromas of candied strawberry, blossom, cherry jam-filled donut and caramelised red apple. On the palate intense red fruits, cranberry, redcurrant, raspberry almost summer fruit pudding with real verve and freshness from balanced citrus acidity. More depth and intensity keep evolving on the mid-palate leading to a long, creamy, fine finish. Best vintage to date! DG 11.07.24, tasted at VWP
