An attractive, cedary, creme de cassis-dominated wine made by Bruno Borie at Ducru-Beaucaillou as an exclusivity for the firm of Nathaniel Johnson, this wine shows lovely fruit, medium to full body, sweet tannins, and is designed for consumption in its first decade of life.

Château Hortevie is a distinguished wine estate situated in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux, France. With a history dating back centuries, the estate has garnered acclaim for its production of high-quality red wines. Spanning approximately 8 hectares, the vineyard benefits from well-drained gravelly soils, ideal for cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grapes.
