Description
The iconic Château Lafite Rothschild was one of only four wine-producing properties awarded First Growth status in the 1855 Bordeaux classification. The estate is blessed with a unique terroir near in the northern part of Pauillac, close to the border with Saint-Estèphe. This release is a rare bottle of its grand vin from the 1964 vintage, an excellent year in Bordeaux which was contrasted by torrential rain during the harvest.
