Description
This rare Chianti Magnum displays a deep ruby colour with garnet highlights, showing the elegance of over fifty years of careful ageing. On the nose, it reveals aromas of dried red cherries, plum, subtle spice, leather, and gentle earthy notes. The palate is smooth and harmonious, with softened tannins supporting flavours of stewed red fruits, hints of orange zest, and delicate forest floor nuances. The finish is long, elegant, and refined, highlighting the wine’s depth, finesse, and classic Sangiovese character.
Decanting: Stand the Magnum upright for 24 hours to allow sediment to settle. Decant gently through a fine strainer and allow 1–2 hours to breathe. Serve at 16–18°C to fully enjoy its aromatic complexity and refined structure.
