Description

This mature Chianti displays a deep ruby hue with garnet highlights, reflecting over fifty years of careful ageing. On the nose, it reveals aromas of dried red cherries, plum, subtle spice, leather, and delicate earthy notes. The palate is smooth and balanced, with softened tannins carrying flavours of stewed red fruits, orange zest, and gentle underbrush hints. The finish is long, harmonious, and elegant, showcasing the wine’s depth, finesse, and classic Sangiovese character.

Decanting: Stand the bottle upright for 24 hours to allow sediment to settle. Decant carefully through a fine strainer and allow 1–2 hours to breathe. Serve at 16–18°C to fully reveal its complex aromatics and refined structure.
