A mature nose, chocolatey, coffee, medicinal hints. The palate is very appealing - a surge of delicious berry fruit, sweetness upfront, that dissipates into a quite mature mid-palate with hints of mint, chocolate and prunes. Big, full-bodied. But the richness quickly subsides into a dried, prune aftertaste. At its best now!
