Description

Dolcetto d’Alba DOC 1976 Bersano is a historic red wine from Piedmont, Italy, produced in the Alba area by the estate Bersano. It is made from Dolcetto, a traditional Piedmontese grape known for its dark fruit expression, soft structure, and early-drinking character, typically vinified in a classic style with aging in neutral vessels and long bottle maturation.

Tasting Notes:
Brick-ruby color with garnet and orange reflections. Dried black cherry, plum, red berries, leather, tobacco, and earthy notes. Light herbal and spice hints.
Medium-light body, soft tannins, moderate acidity. Smooth, gently fading finish.

Serving & Food Pairing:
Serve at 16–18°C, with light decanting if needed.

Pairs with roasted meats, pasta with rich sauces, mushroom dishes, and semi-aged cheeses.

Producer:
Bersano is a historic Piedmontese winery founded in Nizza Monferrato, known for traditional wines made from native varieties such as Barbera, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Grignolino.
