2019 Domaine William Fevre Petite Chablis
The 2019 William Fevre Petite Chablis has a perfumed and elegant bouquet feature notes of sea breeze and green fruit. There is good energy and a lovely sense of purity to the delicious flavours that deliver fine length on the finish.

2015 Boa Vista Douro Red
From the flagship wine from Quinta da Boavista. This is a blend of old vines around 80 years old and new plantings. Aged for two years in new French oak. Beautifully fine, knitted tannins and a finish that just goes on and on. Complex up top with faithful Douro fruit ahead of subtle spice, mocha and tobacco notes.

Quinta da Boavista is one of the most significant and picturesque vineyard estates in the Douro Valley. The Quinta was home to Baron Joseph James Forrester, who in 1843 produced the first demarcated map of the Douro Valley, still used to this day. The estate has passed through the hands of the Offley family, through to Sogrape Vinhos and in 2013, was sold to Lima Smith Lda.

Reviews:
92 + Points Mark Squire - Wine advocate
The 2015 Reserva Boa-Vista is a field blend from old vines (although, the winery hastens to add, not its oldest), aged in a mixture of new (two-thirds, and dropping) and used (one-third) French oak for 15 months. It comes in at 13.9% alcohol. This is a Reserva that is fresh and lifted, with fine grip on the finish and excellent structure. There's a real backbone, but at the same time the tannins are not overly hard. This is beautiful, better than the 2014 in the long run but a bit unevolved just now. In the long run, this will show better flavor as its calling card and its biggest advantage over the 2014. The problem just now is that the fruit is a little hidden by wood. Overall, though, it is gorgeously balanced, with the mid-palate concentration matching the ripe tannins. It should be approachable now, but approachable does not mean ready—a year or three in the cellar would smooth this out, allow it to pull in some wood and add some complexity. This has a fairly long life ahead. It will overtake the 2014 one day, but that day is not necessarily today. There were 14,000 bottles produced. Drink 2019 - 2035

1996 Barros Colheita Port - Decanter Gold Award Winner
Vivid golden colour. Rich and elegant nose, combining the dried fruits aromas with the aromatic wood notes. Soft and silky in the taste, full with ripe figs and sweet flavours. A sensation of depth, in an elegant and distinctive style. Perfect and overwhelming finish.

Colheita, or single harvest ports, are aged in the barrel. Contrast this with vintage ports which are aged in the bottle and only have a short drinking window after opening. Colheita ports have had air working on them through the cask during all the years of aging, giving them a open-life of a month or longer. Lighter and more delicate than vintage ports, the colheita ports are immediately understandable and enjoyable to the novice port drinker and an on-going pleasure to the experienced.

Enjoy colheitas slightly chilled, as an aperitif or at the end of the meal with desserts, cheese, nuts and dried fruit.

Calem 1985 Vintage Port
1985 Calem Vintage Port has impeccable provenance. Stored at the Calem cellars in Porto from bottling until purchase.

1985 was an outstanding vintage for port and the Calem does not disappoint. The 1985 Calem has a beautiful and intense brick red colour with nuances of tawny on the edge. The nose denotes intense and persistent aromas of red berries, black cherry alcohol and blueberry. On the palate this is drier style than most of the English shippers. There is good mouthfeel, high acidity and resolved tannins. A little sour cherry and redcurrant makes this an interesting twist. Persistent finish. Still has ageing potential. 89/100 Very Good VWP Tasting TC May 2020 - Decanted for 5 hrs before tasting.
