The 1950 Kopke Colheita is an exceptionally mature single-harvest Tawny Port, drawn directly from the cellars of Kopke as part of an extraordinarily limited release.

In 2026, just 12 bottles were released worldwide — we have secured the entire allocation.

These bottles have remained under the care of Kopke for the vast majority of their life, ageing slowly in seasoned oak casks for decades before bottling. Now offered through a single source, they represent a rare opportunity to access fully mature stocks directly from the producer.

Tasting Notes
Deep amber-tawny in colour with olive-green reflections at the rim — a hallmark of extended cask ageing.

The nose is expressive and layered, offering notes of dried fig, raisin and date alongside walnut, toasted almond and orange peel. Hints of caramel, honey and spice develop with time.

On the palate, it is silky and composed, with flavours of caramelised nuts, citrus peel and dried fruits. A fine thread of acidity provides lift and precision, leading to a long, elegant and persistent finish.
