The 1984 Kopke Colheita Port is drawn from a single harvest and matured for decades in seasoned oak casks before bottling, allowing time to shape its depth and character. Kopke, the oldest Port house, is renowned for its mastery of long cask ageing, and this vintage reflects that tradition with elegance and balance.

Tasting Notes:
Bright amber-tawny in colour with golden highlights, the nose is expressive and refined. Aromas of dried apricot, fig and orange peel mingle with notes of toasted almond, caramel and gentle spice. On the palate it is smooth and harmonious, with a silky texture balanced by lively acidity. Flavours of candied citrus, walnut and toffee develop gradually, leading to a long, polished and persistent finish with subtle notes of spice and dried fruit.

Serving & Food Pairing:
Best served lightly chilled to emphasise freshness and aromatic lift. A natural partner to almond tart, crème caramel or mature hard cheeses, though equally rewarding when enjoyed slowly on its own.
