Description

Nebbiolo 1993 Carlo Giacosa is a mature red wine from Piedmont, Italy, produced from Nebbiolo grapes in the Langhe region. This bottling represents a traditional expression of Nebbiolo from the early 1990s, crafted for elegant bottle evolution and the development of tertiary complexity over time.

Tasting Notes:
Brick-garnet color with orange reflections. Aromas of dried rose petals, cherry, leather, tobacco, licorice, and forest floor, with subtle earthy, balsamic, and spice nuances.
Elegant and mature palate with softened tannins, balanced acidity, and refined structure. Long finish with notes of dried herbs, smoke, and aged spice.

Serving & Food Pairing:
Serve at 16–18°C, with gentle decanting if necessary.

Pairs well with braised meats, game, mushroom dishes, truffle recipes, risotto, tajarin pasta, and aged cheeses.

Producer:
Carlo Giacosa is a traditional winery in the Langhe area, known for producing classic Nebbiolo-based wines focused on elegance, structure, and long bottle aging.
