Description

There is a wonderful story to the release of the 1994 Quevedo Colheita Port. The wine was voted "Port of the Night" during a recent tasting with Oscar Quevedo, and so, we persuaded him to release a small quantity. Only 300 bottles released by popular demand!

This extraordinary Colheita Port from Quevedo was born during the widely acclaimed 1994 vintage. With meticulous care, it fermented in granite vats and aged for 30 years in chestnut wood barrels. With refreshing acidity, a rich medley of flavors of creme brulee, nutty undertones, and a hint of caramel, it presents an elegant and complex palate. The finish features a delightful note of grilled hazelnuts, leaving a long-lasting impression. A Colheita Port that perfectly embodies wine-making distinction, delivering a captivating and refined tasting experience.

Serving & Food Pairing:
Colheita Ports are ready-to drink and do not require decanting. Best enjoyed slightly chilled at 12-13ºC they will work wonders if pairing with treacle tart, crème brulee or nut based desserts, like hazelnut praline.
