White Mosaic 2022 – Limited Edition White Port

A truly distinctive White Port, the 2022 White Mosaic is crafted from an extraordinary field blend of 47 native Douro grape varieties. Produced in a modern, fresh style, it is bottled young to capture its vibrant aromatics while retaining the structure to develop further in bottle. A rare and highly individual release from Cláudia Quevedo and her family, this is a wine that reflects both innovation and the remarkable diversity of the Douro Valley.

On the nose, it is highly expressive, with bright citrus notes of lemon and lime intertwined with delicate floral aromas of orange blossom and jasmine. Subtle tropical hints of pineapple and passion fruit add further complexity, creating a layered and inviting bouquet.

The palate is light, elegant and beautifully balanced. A gentle sweetness is lifted by refreshing acidity, with citrus and floral flavours carrying through to a clean, mineral finish. The result is a White Port that feels both fresh and refined, with a lingering, sophisticated character.

Fermented using wild yeasts and aged in stainless steel for two years, this wine preserves its purity and freshness while offering the potential to evolve gracefully in bottle. Sourced from one of the most diverse vineyard plantings in the Douro, it is as unique as it is compelling.
