Q.Lab “Relaxation” 2024 – Douro White

A distinctive and limited white wine, Q.Lab “Relaxation” 2024 is crafted from the rare Folgasão (Terrantez) grape — a variety now seldom found in the Douro. Planted by the Quevedo family as a final vineyard project, this wine represents both preservation and innovation, capturing a unique expression of the region.

On the nose, it is highly aromatic, offering bright notes of green apple and lemon, layered with subtle hints of vanilla and a mineral touch reminiscent of wet stone. The profile is both fresh and complex, with a refined elegance.

The palate is dry, structured and beautifully balanced, combining vibrant acidity with a creamy texture. Well-integrated oak adds depth without overpowering the fruit, leading to a persistent finish marked by citrus, gentle toast and a saline freshness.

Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged on fine lees with regular bâtonnage, this is a gastronomic white designed for the table — particularly well suited to richer fish dishes, sushi and refined cuisine.
