The Sandeman 1958 Vintage Port is a lovely wine for drinking now. 1958 was a fairly small vintage which wasn’t as widely declared as the 1955s or 1960s. Medium-bodied, with soft red fruit tones, overtones of dried fruits and wood smoke, this is a traditional after-dinner sipping Port.

The year was marked by an excellent ripening season with hot weather in July and August meaning that the crop was perfectly mature towards the end of September. Most of the well known shippers declared 1955.
