Barbera d’Asti DOC 1976 Bersano is a historic red wine from Piedmont, Italy, produced in the Asti area. It is made from Barbera, a traditional grape of the region known for its deep color, lively acidity, and expressive fruit character, typically vinified in a classic style with aging in large neutral casks and long bottle maturation.
Tasting Notes:
Brick-ruby color with garnet and orange reflections. Dried cherry, plum, red berries, leather, tobacco, and earthy notes. Light spice and herbal hints.
Medium body, soft tannins, still-present acidity. Smooth, gently fading finish.
Serving & Food Pairing:
Serve at 16–18°C, with light decanting if needed.
