Calem Vintage Port in Magnum from 1977, one of the great vintages of the late 20th century. These bottles Port has been stored in Calem cellars in Porto since bottling until purchase and export to Vintage Wine and Port. The bottles are in excellent condition.
Tasting notes: The 1977 Calem Vintage Port is an orange-tinged pale tawny colour. A powerful nose of light dried fruit, morello cherry, roasted coffee and caramel. Medium bodied, good balance between the alcohol and tannins with fig and raisin flavours. A very good enjoyable long finish. Outstanding 95/100 (TC) Tasted at the Port Forum 02/20 From Magnum. Decanted 10 hours before serving.
