Description

The 2020 Château Beaumont is a beautifully crafted Haut-Médoc that reflects the strength of the vintage—ripe, concentrated fruit wrapped in refined structure. Deep ruby in colour, it opens with inviting aromas of blackcurrant, ripe plum and blackberry, complemented by hints of violet, cedar and subtle toasted spice. It’s a wine that immediately shows both charm and precision.

On the palate, the 2020 Beaumont is supple yet well-defined, offering a generous core of dark fruit supported by smooth, integrated tannins. Notes of cassis, dark cherry and cocoa are lifted by a touch of graphite and warm spice. The balance between richness and freshness is impressive, giving the wine a sense of elegance that goes beyond its modest price point.

As it develops in the glass, more complexity emerges—tobacco leaf, savoury herbs and a gentle earthiness that underline its Left Bank identity. How to store your Wine
Store lying on its side in a cool, dark cellar at 10–14°C. While the 1998 is now mature, it will remain enjoyable for another 3–5 years if cellared well.
