This is a a Merlot dominant red wine from a Grand Cru Classe estate within the Bordeaux appellation of Saint-Emilion; 1989 vintage. It has a beautiful color of early stages of maturity. Faint nose of red berries. Velvety, with considerable fine tannins, very restrained fruit. Extremely long, fruity finish.
