Château Laland Borie 1999, Saint-Julien

The 1999 Château Laland Borie is a mature and approachable Saint-Julien, offering classic Left Bank character with softened structure and elegant, easy-drinking appeal. From a traditional vintage, it provides a refined expression of this respected appellation.

The nose is gently evolved, with aromas of redcurrant, dried cherry and plum, layered with notes of cedar, tobacco and a touch of earthy complexity. Subtle hints of leather and spice reflect its maturity and time in bottle.

On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with soft, resolved tannins and a smooth, integrated texture. The fruit is delicate yet persistent, supported by savoury notes of forest floor and dried herbs, typical of a mature Saint-Julien.
