A classic high-scoring 1999 vintage sweet white wine from Chateau Rieussec, Sauternes.

Rieussec has had many owners in its illustrious history, the present owner, Domaine Barons de Rothschild of Lafite Rothschild, acquired the estate in 1984. They put investment into the cellars and vineyard management, reducing the vine yields and improving the grape quality. Rieussec now consistently produces some of the greatest dessert wines in Bordeaux.

The 1999 is Drinking really well. Expressive aromatics of lavender, honey, apricot jam and orange blossom. Full, rich, sweet and intense with good volume and real freshness to the finish.
