The G. Maurel, "La Sanglarde" Châteauneuf-du-Pap has a pale and clearly developed colour. Smells of underbrush and some dark berries. Medium body, good length, and wonderful acidity, little tannins left. Delicious! Scores on elegance rather than power. Fully mature.
